Thanks for your interest in the YOOF Project. It is about raising the profile and skills of young people by working with, filming and recording sustainable enterprises that produce and process food, as well as experiencing rural, sustainable lifestyles.
A key part of the project is the creation of a collaborative network of learners, practitioners and media developers sharing their ideas, profiles and short videos with the community.
The network is there for all, of whatever skills or experience in producing food or producing media – absolute beginners or specialists.
YOOF aims to serve as a community of people -usually wwoofers but open to anyone – interested in recording and presenting to a wider audience the life-enriching aspects of living and working on a farm, producing and processing great quality food in a cooperative, climate-friendly and sustainable way.

What can you do in the YOOF network?
Practically everything that is possible in a typical online community:
- Create your profile and tell the community a little about your background, interest, experience, portfolio…
- Share anything you find interesting related to media production, organic farming, healthy food and cooking, rural entrepreneurship. It could be just a bookmark, pictures, article, an interesting video, external websites and resources, blogs…
- Connect with others nationally and internationally to share your ideas, doubts, projects and materials. Learning and sharing is much more fun.
- Suggest, create or join groups on specific topics
- Participate in the development of YOOF network: your are welcome to explore, suggest and develop any initiative related to our subjects in the community website. This is community driven project.
If you already attended or will be attending some of the YOOF events
- Join the specific Group for the course to use and share materials and experiences – docs, media, team members…
- Keep in touch with other participants and everyone else, learn by doing how to keep the online community alive. This network is our community vehicle, even before we meet!
- Let us share the learning experience and communication to help others to repeat or adapt future workshops
